Main Areas to Keep It Clean At All Times for good energy flow in your home or office. 

1.     The door and Entryway

The life energy of your home or office enters through your front door. That’s why the front door area is the most important spot according to Feng Shui (the ancient Chinese teaching about energy flow in your home or office). The front door must be clean and have a vibrant and welcoming feel to it. It will attract a better quality of energy for the residents or people working in it. No cobwebs, no leaves, and clutter-free (no shoes, no old planters, no gardening tools, no umbrellas, or other objects). It needs to be very neat and clean.  

Lighting should be adequate so that your porch or front door stands out. 

The front door is “the mouth of Chi” (energy, it can be good or bad). 

 If your front door opens straight into the Living room and you don’t have a hallway then you need to place something to let the energy flow, and evenly go around the rest of the house or office. Always keep the front porch, the entryway neat and welcoming. When guests enter your space they know where they are expected to go.

According to Chinese tradition, it’s important to sweep your entryway daily with a broom or vacuum to keep it clean all the time. 

2.     The Center of your home or office

The Center of the home or office is where the energy gets distributed harmoniously (or not) and flows to other areas. No clutter at any time. You need to straighten up, vacuum, and clean that area daily for a good energy flow. 

3.     The Stove    

The kitchen could be compared to the “heart” of the home as it is where a home’s warmth comes from. The stove is the appliance that needs daily attention from you. A stove gets dirty every day if you cook on it and being a symbol of prosperity, it needs to be spotless.

4.     All Mirrors and Windows 

All mirrors and windows in your home or office should be cleaned every other day or at least once a week for clarity of mind and prosperity. Doing this provides the brain with a burst of dopamine a healthy version, it is like getting likes on your Instagram).
